I was talking to my wife the other day, and we decided that we both want to participate in the NaNoWriMo challenge this coming November. The idea sounds exciting, and gives us a chance to encourage and challenge eachother. And I think that’s so important.

I feel very lucky to be surrounded by people who are always challenging me to do more, and better, or something new. It’s especially true with running and hiking – but there are also challengers at work and at home.

It’s one thing to set your own goals, but it’s so much more powerful to have a group of people who support you, and whom you support back.
